The Walker Pavilion

The Walker Pavilion

4.6Google rating (22 Google reviews)

Inside Coolidge Park on Chattanooga's North Shore, the Walker Pavilion is a covered gathering space run by the city's Parks and Outdoors department. The city rents it for private events, receptions and festivals, and it can be reserved through the city's parks reservation page. The pavilion sits near the middle of the park, open to views of the Tennessee River. Coolidge Park covers about 11 acres along the river and connects to downtown by the Walnut Street Pedestrian Bridge. Around the pavilion, the park has open lawns, a walking path, river access for paddle craft, an interactive fountain that runs from May through September, and the restored Bud Ellis Carousel in its own glass-walled building.
