Chattanooga River Games 2026
The South's largest extreme sports and music festival featuring wakesurfing, rock climbing, freestyle diving, and slacklining on the Tennessee River.

Night Market at Frazier Avenue
A monthly evening market on Frazier Avenue in the North Shore, with local vendors, artists, tarot readers, and food trucks. Held the last Friday of the month, 7-10pm. Upcoming dates: August 28 and September 25, 2026.

CFC vs Carolina Core FC - Late Summer Rivalry
The independent rivalry continues as Chattanooga FC hosts Carolina Core FC at Finley Stadium for the second time this season.
Chattanooga Oktoberfest 2026
Chattanooga's Oktoberfest pub crawl takes over the Southside for an afternoon and evening of German-style beer, food, and music. Centered at The Bitter Alibi, the 21-and-up celebration encourages lederhosen and dirndls, with a wristband check-in required at the start. It's a lively way to soak up fall in Chattanooga's bar and restaurant scene.
Bacon and Barrel Festival 2026
A food and whiskey festival supporting the Chattanooga Market, featuring unlimited samples of bacon-themed dishes from local restaurants alongside barrel-aged spirits, live music, and entertainment.

IRONMAN Chattanooga 2026
IRONMAN Chattanooga returns to the Scenic City, bringing more than 2,500 athletes from around the world to take on a full-distance triathlon: a 2.4-mile swim in the Tennessee River, a 111.8-mile bike ride through the surrounding countryside, and a 26.2-mile run finishing along the riverfront. Spectators can cheer athletes on throughout downtown Chattanooga, with the best views near the swim start and the finish line downtown. It's one of the biggest single-day sporting events the city hosts each year.
Chattanooga Market Fall Festival 2026
A seasonal celebration at the Chattanooga Market with pumpkins, apples, cider, and fall produce alongside local vendors, handmade goods, fresh flowers, and live music.

3 Sisters Bluegrass Festival 2026
Chattanooga's free bluegrass festival returns to Ross's Landing on the riverfront, October 2-3, 2026. Two days of top regional and national bluegrass acts on the banks of the Tennessee River — one of the city's most beloved free music traditions.

Chattanooga Apple Festival 2026
A family-friendly fall festival at Camp Jordan celebrating the harvest season with fresh-pressed apple cider, apple butter, craft and commercial vendors, a petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables, and homemade crafts.

IBMA World of Bluegrass 2026
The International Bluegrass Music Association brings its flagship event to downtown Chattanooga: a business conference, the Bluegrass Ramble showcases, the IBMA Bluegrass Music Awards, and the two-day Bluegrass Live! festival featuring live performances centered around the Chattanooga Convention Center, The Signal, and Barrelhouse Ballroom.

Head of the Hooch 2026
The Southeast's premier rowing regatta returns to Ross's Landing Park, drawing 6,500+ athletes from across the nation for the South's largest head race. The Head of the Hooch is 100% volunteer-run and community-driven, held on one of rowing's most scenic racecourses along the Tennessee River.

Chattanooga Comic Con 2026
A two-day, all-ages celebration of comics, animation, gaming, cosplay and pop culture at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Features a vendor hall, gaming hall, celebrity guests, creators, cosplay contests and photo ops.
