Clever Alehouse

Clever Alehouse is a Red Bank restaurant and bar on Dayton Boulevard that also scoops ice cream and has an arcade and a patio. Its website says the team, then living in Red Bank, opened it in 2022. The kitchen calls its menu New American with international influences, and that shows up in dishes like Seoul food nachos with kimchi slaw and Korean hot honey, udon noodle bowls with pork belly or shaved sirloin, and a kimchi cheesesteak. Smash burgers, chicken tenders with a choice of house sauces, salads, loaded tots and a kids' menu round it out, and an Impossible patty or crumble can stand in on many plates. Clever Creamery keeps 12 rotating ice cream flavors and fresh-made waffle cones. The bar pours draft beer and cocktails, and the site lists online ordering, catering, mobile bar service and space rentals for events.
