Chattanooga's happy hour scene goes way beyond a dollar off draft beer. Half-off tabs, BOGO oysters, and cocktail deals that make your evening. Here's where to go.

Chattanooga's happy hour scene is deep. We're not just talking about a dollar off draft beer at a chain restaurant. We're talking half-off tabs, BOGO oysters, creative cocktail deals, and food specials that make happy hour feel like the actual meal. The trick is knowing where to go and when.

We dug through the city's best spots and ranked them by the stuff that actually matters: how good are the deals, how good is the atmosphere, and would you actually go back? We checked the days, times, and deals against each restaurant's own website or menu in October 2026 wherever one was available. Here are the ones that made the cut.

The Best Overall Deals

No Hard Feelings

Half off your entire tab, every day from 5 to 7 PM, according to NOOGAtoday's happy hour guide. That's the pitch, and it's hard to beat. No Hard Feelings is a cocktail bar at 806 Broad Street downtown, and the drink menu is thoughtful. Get there right at 5 if you want a seat, and check the bar's social media before you go, since we could not confirm the deal on a bar website.

The Social

Monday through Friday, 2 to 6 PM. The Social shares a kitchen with Public House on Market Street, and the June 2026 Public House menu marks select cocktails (like The Social Sour and the house sangria) and a rotating list of wines by the glass with happy hour pricing. The restaurant's menu doesn't list the happy hour discounts as a separate deal, so ask when you sit down. The Social has the kind of polished downtown atmosphere where happy hour can easily become your entire evening.

Agave & Rye

Half-price OG margaritas and half-price bourbon peach punch are the headliners here, Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM. Add $2.50 domestic cans, $1.50 off Epic-size tacos, and $4.75 chips and queso, and you've got one of the most complete happy hours in downtown Chattanooga. The $15 Pick 3 chips and dips combo is perfect for grazing. Agave & Rye also runs all-day specials like Margarita Monday and Taco Tuesday, but those are dine-in only and separate from happy hour. The space itself is wild: eclectic decor, creative menu, and an energy that's hard to replicate.

Best for Food and Drink Combos

Easy Bistro & Bar

Buy one, get one free specialty oysters. Every day from 4 to 5 PM. If you like oysters, there is no better deal in this city. Easy Bistro has been one of Chattanooga's best restaurants since 2005. It's a Michelin-listed bistro with a raw bar and a seafood-heavy menu in the West Village neighborhood. The BOGO oysters turn happy hour into a proper experience. Show up early because this one's no secret.

Feed Table & Tavern

Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM. Happy hour brings $6 pulled pork nachos, $6 pulled pork sliders, $6 mules, and a $4 featured draft. The week has its own rhythm too. Tuesday means $4 featured pints and half-price bottles of house wine (with live trivia at 7:30 PM), Wednesday brings $4 glasses of house wine, and Margarita Monday has $5 margaritas. Feed's industrial-chic Southside space makes all of this feel like more than just cheap drinks. The food is consistently good and the atmosphere rewards hanging around.

Community Pie

Community Pie is the pizza spot on this list, with slices and whole pies at its Market Street location (850 Market St.) and a second location on Hamilton Place Boulevard. Local happy hour listings have included weekday afternoon deals on slices and drinks here, but we could not confirm this season's days, times, or prices on its website, so call ahead before you plan around a specific deal.

Puckett's

Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM. Beers (draft and bottle) are $2 off, other wines and Puckett's cocktails are $2 off, and A. Marshall Family wines are $7. The bar bites run $8 each: fried pickles, fried green beans, Puckett's smoked sliders, and a half dozen cherrywood-smoked wings. The downtown location near the Aquarium makes this a natural stop after a day of sightseeing or before a show at the Tivoli.

Best Craft Beer Happy Hours

Parkway Pourhouse

Monday through Friday, 3 to 6 PM. Premium drafts, house wines, and house liquors are $2 off, domestic cans like Natty Light, Ultra, and Modelo are $1 off, and appetizers are 25% off (wings excluded). But Thursday is where it gets interesting, because Thirsty Thursday means all-day happy hour. Add Tuesday's Tacos and Tequila ($3.50 tacos plus $6 house margaritas), Wednesday's Wings, Whiskey and Wine (half-price wings, $6 house whiskey, $5 house wines), and Monday's free pint with a signature po boy, and Parkway Pourhouse basically runs a different deal every day of the week. The riverfront patio is one of the best in town.

Clever Alehouse

Daily 4 to 5:30 PM. $5 chips and queso, $10 smashburgers with a side, $3 wells, $3 wines by the glass, $3 Fox Lagers, and $5 drafts. Clever Alehouse in Red Bank is a family-friendly neighborhood bar and restaurant with an arcade, a patio, and hand-dipped ice cream, so you can bring the kids for the early window. The happy hour prices make it feel like someone's house party, except the food is better and there's a full bar.

Boathouse Rotisserie & Raw Bar

Daily 2 to 6 PM. $1 off beer, $2 off glasses of wine, and $2 off house cocktails, and orders have to be entered before 6 PM to get the pricing. Mondays bring half-price Chesapeake oysters, and Wednesday is a $12 catfish special. The Boathouse is a waterfront restaurant with a big deck, and drinking a cold beer out there during happy hour is one of the better uses of a Tuesday afternoon.

Best Cocktail-Focused Happy Hours

Wooden City

Monday through Thursday, 4:30 to 5:30 PM. $1 off draft beer, $10 house red or white wine, $10 sparkling rosé, $12.50 draft old fashioned, $10 daiquiri, $12 bottled Vesper martini, and an $11 beer and a shot. Snacks include $15 peel and eat shrimp, a $17 tavern burger and fries, and $9 or $10 cheesy bread. Wooden City is one of downtown's more refined cocktail spots, and its happy hour lets you enjoy the craftsmanship at approachable prices. The window is short and weekdays only, so plan to be there at 4:30. The vibe is warm and date-night-ready. A good option if you want something more polished than your standard bar crawl.

Calliope

Happy hour runs 5 to 6 PM Monday through Thursday and 4 to 6 PM Friday through Sunday, with special-priced drinks and snacks like the Mezze Platter. Calliope is a modern Levantine restaurant at 422 East Martin Luther King Boulevard, and chef Khaled Albanna was named a 2026 James Beard semifinalist for Best Chef: Southeast. The happy hour menu is posted on the restaurant's website, so check it for current prices. The atmosphere is sophisticated without being stuffy.

State of Confusion

Weekdays 4 to 6 PM. State of Confusion's cocktail game is strong to begin with, and the kitchen leans on ceviche and wood-fire grills. Specific happy hour prices change, so check the restaurant's menu or call ahead. It's a lively spot on East Main in the Southside, and it's great for groups.

Best Weekend Happy Hours

Most happy hours run weekdays only, but a few spots keep the deals going on Saturday and Sunday:

  • No Hard Feelings: Half off the whole tab, daily including weekends (5 to 7 PM), according to NOOGAtoday
  • Calliope: Happy hour Friday through Sunday, 4 to 6 PM
  • Boathouse: $1 to $2 off drinks daily including weekends (2 to 6 PM)
  • Clever Alehouse: Daily happy hour including weekends (4 to 5:30 PM)
  • Easy Bistro: BOGO oysters daily including weekends (4 to 5 PM)

The Best Happy Hour Crawl Route

If you want to hit multiple spots in one evening, here's a walkable route through downtown and Southside:

Start at 3 PM: Feed on West Main for a $4 draft and $6 nachos.
4 PM: Walk to Easy Bistro on Chestnut for BOGO oysters.
5 PM: Head to No Hard Feelings on Broad for half-off cocktails.
After 6 PM: Finish at Wooden City on Broad for a nightcap. Its happy hour is over by then, but the cocktails are worth full price.

That's four stops, all within walking distance, with progressively better vibes as the evening picks up. You'll eat well, drink well, and spend less than most people do on a regular dinner out.

Tips for Happy Hour in Chattanooga

Arrive early. The best deals often end by 6 PM, and popular spots fill up fast. Getting there right when happy hour starts means you get a seat and the full window.

Check days carefully. Some places run specials on specific days: Feed's Tuesday wine night, Parkway Pourhouse's all-day Thursday pricing, Boathouse's Monday oysters, and Wooden City's Monday through Thursday only window. Plan your week around the deals you care about.

The Southside neighborhood is happy hour central. More happy hour options per square block than anywhere else in the city. You could walk from Feed on West Main to State of Confusion on East Main without ever needing a car.

Specials change. Restaurants update their happy hour menus often. The days, times, and prices listed here were checked against restaurant websites and menus in October 2026, but it's worth checking a restaurant's social media or calling ahead if you're planning around a specific deal.

Whether you're looking for half-off cocktails, cheap pizza, or BOGO oysters, Chattanooga has a happy hour for every mood and budget. The hardest part is choosing just one.
