Murder in the Mountains

Harrison Bay State Park hosts Murder in the Mountains on Saturday, October 24, from 8 to 10 p.m. The park says visitors gather around a campfire with a cup of cider and hear stories of mischief and crime from Harrison's past, from highwaymen to the hangman's noose.

The park suggests ages 12 and up. It says younger children may attend with a parent or guardian, and notes the topics include historical instances of violence. The park lists admission as free, asks you to bring a blanket and/or chair, and says seating is limited.

The program meets at the Friends Front Porch, next to the playgrounds and Shelters 1 and 3. See the Tennessee State Parks event page for details and registration.
