Guided Bird Migration Hike at Harrison Bay State Park

Harrison Bay State Park offers a Guided Bird Migration Hike on Friday, October 9, 2026, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The one-hour walk follows the Bay Point Loop Trail along Chickamauga Lake.

Before setting out, the leader talks about why Tennessee is an important stop on the fall flyway and the species passing through. The park lists the walk as open to all skill levels and ages, says binoculars are available during the program or you can bring your own, and recommends water and good hiking shoes.
