Tennessee State Parks hosts the Ghouls & Gourds Night Hike at Booker T. Washington State Park on Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. A park ranger leads a guided hike along the Scenic Trail after dark.

The program looks at how wildlife adapts to life at night, tests nighttime senses and adds some seasonal spooky fun. Groups meet at the green kiosk by the boat ramp. The listing says flashlights are provided or you can bring your own, recommends closed-toed shoes, water and dressing for the weather, and says registration is required and the program is free.
