Bluff View Art District

Perched on the bluffs above the Tennessee River downtown, the Bluff View Art District gathers a family of businesses in one historic neighborhood. Its website says the district began in 1991, when its founders bought the building that now holds River Gallery and Rembrandt's Coffee House. Today the district includes Rembrandt's Coffee House, Tony's Pasta Shop & Trattoria, Bluff View Bakery, Rembrandt's Roasting Company, River Gallery and its sculpture garden, plus an herb and vegetable garden. The Bluff View Inn offers sixteen rooms spread across three renovated historic mansions. The district also hosts private events, from small weddings and elopements to rehearsal dinners and corporate meetings, at indoor and outdoor venues. According to its website, leashed pets are allowed on the restaurant patios and in outdoor areas.
