Trail race at Lula Lake Land Trust with 10K, half marathon and 50K courses and a 1-mile kids run. The organizers say proceeds support the trust's trail work and conservation.

Lula Lake Land Trust opens its Core Preserve to public hiking Dec. 5 and 6, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Reservations are required. Trails, bluff views and a waterfall.
