Main Street Meats

Main Street Meats pairs a neighborhood butcher shop with a meat-focused restaurant on East Main Street in the Southside. Butchery happens in-house using a whole-animal approach, and the case holds steaks such as ribeye, strip and sirloin bavette alongside brisket and other cuts. Its website says the shop works with area farms and can source special cuts on request. In the dining room, the menu shifts with whatever cuts and seasonal produce are on hand, served at lunch and dinner, with a family-style menu as well. Bread comes from Niedlov's Bakery, and the bar keeps a whiskey book of nearly 300 bottles plus draft cocktails. Diners can join the waitlist online, order carryout or delivery, or sit on the heated patio. The team also caters, from charcuterie boards for small groups to wedding dinners.
