DC BLOX

DC BLOX operates a data center in Chattanooga, called CHA1, at a site on East 16th Street. The company provides colocation, which means businesses rent space for their own servers and network equipment. According to its website, the Chattanooga facility is carrier-neutral and offers connections to other DC BLOX data centers, internet exchanges and public cloud providers. The site lists lockable cabinets, a single-entry barrier gate, perimeter fencing, camera coverage and a staffed security desk. It also describes backup generators and uninterruptible power systems, and says the building is connected to the city's smart grid. DC BLOX is a multi-city company with other data centers across the Southeast, and the website offers tours and quote requests for the Chattanooga location.
