Black Tie Affair

Black Tie Affair is a Chattanooga event staffing company that supplies servers and bartenders for private parties, weddings and corporate functions. Its website says events can range from a dinner for two to a banquet of 1,200. Caterers, chefs and venues bring the staff on as an extension of their own teams, while private hosts hire them to help with prep, heating, plating and garnishing, then keep food and bar service going through the event. For parties at home, the site says staff can also answer the door, hang coats, keep the kitchen tidy and handle cleanup at the end. Wedding work includes food and beverage service, cake cutting, and setting up and breaking down rentals or the couple's own serving pieces. Planning help is part of the job too, including a visit to the event location to work out setup, rentals and the bar.
