Stringer's Ridge Trail Run 5K

The Stringer's Ridge Trail Run 5K is one of Chattanooga's most scenic short-distance races. The course winds through the trails of Stringer's Ridge, the 92-acre urban forest preserve on the North Shore, with elevation changes, wooded singletrack, and overlook views of downtown and Lookout Mountain.

It's a challenging 5K thanks to the terrain, but the atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming - plenty of first-timers run alongside trail veterans. The post-race party at a nearby North Shore brewery includes a free beer for all finishers, awards for top finishers, and live music. Race proceeds go toward maintaining and expanding the North Shore greenway system.
