Gran Fondo Hincapie Chattanooga

Named for former pro cyclist George Hincapie, this Gran Fondo is one of the premier cycling events in the Southeast. Riders choose from multiple route lengths - from a casual 20-mile option to a grueling century ride through the mountains and valleys surrounding Chattanooga.

The weekend kicks off Saturday with a family festival and cycling expo. Sunday is the main ride day, starting from downtown Chattanooga. The routes take riders through some of the most scenic roads in the Tennessee Valley, including climbs up Lookout Mountain and Signal Mountain.

Whether you're a serious cyclist or just getting into road riding, the Gran Fondo is a well-organized event with great aid stations, beautiful scenery, and an after-party that makes the climbing worth it.
