Beneath These Stones: Voices from Pleasant Garden Cemetery

The listing describes "Beneath These Stones: Voices from Pleasant Garden Cemetery" as a performance of original poetic monologues and portraits. It says that since 1891, Pleasant Garden Cemetery has been the final resting place of generations of Chattanooga's African American community, and that the program invites audiences to remember and hear the stories of those who came before.

The performance runs from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. at Barking Legs Theater, 1307 Dodds Ave, Chattanooga. Tickets are sold through the event's online ticket page.

See the official event page for details and tickets.
