Urban Stack

On the Southside of downtown Chattanooga, Urban Stack serves burgers from the former Southern Railway Baggage Building. Its website dates the building to 1867 and says the restaurant opened there in 2011. Burgers lead the menu, from the Urban Classics list to specialty stacks with beef smash patties, turkey patties and plant-based burgers. Sides include house-cut fries, onion rings and gouda creamed corn. The menu labels vegan items and lists gluten-free buns and lettuce wraps as substitutions. The full bar focuses on bourbon and whiskey, alongside local craft beer on tap and a specialty cocktail list. There are two outdoor patios and TVs in the bar area, and the website says leashed, well-behaved pets are welcome on the front patio. According to its website, the team behind Urban Stack also opened Taco Mamacita.
