The Read House Hotel, Downtown

The Read House is a historic hotel on Martin Luther King Boulevard in downtown Chattanooga. According to its website, it first opened in 1872, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and has been restored to reflect its 1920s look. Rooms, suites and penthouses come with flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, mini-fridges and coffee makers, and the site lists room service and pet-friendly stays. Amenities on site include Bridgeman's Chophouse, a Starbucks, a bar and billiards room, an indoor pool, an outdoor garden, a fitness room, valet parking and massage therapy.
