Public House Restaurant

Public House has been cooking on Market Street downtown since 2009, according to its website. The menu takes the classic pub and Southern meat-and-three idea and dresses it up a bit, with steaks, seafood and seasonal produce, served at lunch and dinner. Separate gluten-free lunch and dinner menus are posted alongside a kids menu and family meals to go. Orders can be placed directly for pickup or delivery, and the restaurant also lists Uber Eats. The Social, its attached bar, shares the kitchen and pours local beer on tap, cocktails and wine. For events, the Polo Room seats up to 50 and can be split in half, the smaller Oak Room sits off The Social, and the team caters off-site gatherings such as weddings and parties.
