Gears Transmission and Complete Automotive Repair

Gears Transmission works on transmissions and the rest of the drivetrain from its shop on Scruggs Road in Ringgold, just over the Georgia line from Chattanooga. Its website says the business started in a home garage in 2017 and now operates out of a 30,000-square-foot facility. Services include transmission diagnostics, repair and in-house rebuilds, along with transfer case work and differential repair, rebuilds and regearing. The shop handles everyday cars and trucks as well as heavy-duty diesel pickups, and its site describes machining and parts work done under the same roof. Gears also runs an online parts store with rebuild kits and components for common GM and Ford transmissions. Diagnostic visits are arranged by phone or through the contact form on its website.
