Spooky Sprint - Chattanooga is a morning of races at Tennessee River Park Pavilion 2, with a Kids Dash, 1 Mile, 5K, 10K and half marathon, plus virtual and volunteer-then-run options. The organizers describe their events as fun, family-friendly and welcoming to every pace and fitness level.

Race day schedule: packet pickup 6:30 to 7:45 a.m., Kids Dash at 7:55 a.m. (untimed, for ages 10 and under), and the race start at 8:00 a.m. The organizer says registration includes a designer shirt, custom medal, chip timing with live results and awards, free photos and free snacks at the finish line. Youth pricing for the 5K and 10K (ages 12 and under) is $17.
