Songbirds: Women Who Rock Exhibit Opening
Songbirds Guitar Museum on Station Street opens its newest exhibit, "Women Who Rock," showcasing guitars and memorabilia from some of the most influential women in rock, blues, and country music. The collection includes instruments played by everyone from Sister Rosetta Tharpe to Joan Jett, with detailed stories behind each piece.
Opening night features a live performance by a Tennessee-based all-female rock band, plus complimentary drinks and small bites. The museum itself is worth a visit any time - it houses one of the largest collections of vintage guitars in the world - but this exhibit adds a whole new layer worth seeing.
