Amigo The Devil is the project of Miami singer-songwriter Danny Kiranos, known for banjo-led songs that blend folk and country with dark storytelling and black humor. Songs like "Hell and You" and "Another Man's Grave" give a good sense of the sound.

The event listing names Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits and Chavela Vargas among his influences, and describes a songwriter who favors honesty and flaws over polish.

The show is in the Walker Theatre, the proscenium theater inside Memorial Auditorium on McCallie Avenue. Tickets and the latest details are on the official ticket page.
