McCoy Farm & Gardens

McCoy Farm & Gardens is a historic property on Signal Mountain, just north of Chattanooga. Its grounds and walking trails are free and open to the public seven days a week, in daylight hours, according to its website. Visitors can walk wooded paths and see native pollinator gardens, an arboretum, an apple orchard, the old homeplace and the farm buildings. The site also shares the history of the property, including the families who lived there, its role during the Civil War and the nonprofit that now manages it, which was founded in late 2015. The farm is also an event venue. Its website lists weddings, private events such as birthdays, retirements and corporate gatherings, and rentals. It also has pages for community events, volunteering and donations.
