Creative Art Place

Children's Art Place is a kids' art studio on East Brainerd Road. This listing appears as Creative Art Place, but the studio's website uses the name Children's Art Place. Its studio classes are project based and teach drawing basics, art vocabulary and a range of materials, from watercolor and acrylics to pastels, charcoal, collage and mixed media. Classes are small, and the site says the schedule keeps growing as families ask for new times. Beyond weekly classes, the site lists Kids' Night Out events, workshops (some for kids, some for adults, and some for both), school-break and summer camps, adult paint nights, birthday parties and mobile parties. It also offers an on-site after-school art program at schools, plus free drawing tutorials and printables online.
