Camp Lookout

Camp Lookout is a Christian camp and retreat center on Lookout Mountain in northwest Georgia, about 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. According to its website, it has operated since 1959, sits on about 200 acres, and is a ministry of the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church. The site also says it is accredited by the American Camp Association. Summer camp is offered for campers from first grade through high school, with a separate camp for older youth and adults with developmental disabilities. Campers stay in cabins and eat together in Lookout Lodge. Activities listed include creek walks, a climbing wall and time on the lake. The camp also hosts church, youth and other group retreats, with lodging, meeting spaces and food service.
