Battle Below the Clouds BBQ Cook-Off

The Battle Below the Clouds is Ruby Falls' annual BBQ cook-off, and it's become one of the most fun food events on Chattanooga's calendar. Amateur grillers and smokers from across the region compete for bragging rights as Chattanooga's best backyard cook. The competition is fierce, the smells are incredible, and the tasting opportunities are even better.

The setting alone makes this event special - Ruby Falls on Lookout Mountain, with views of the valley below. Beyond the BBQ competition, there's live music, cold drinks, and the kind of laid-back Saturday afternoon energy that Chattanooga does best.
